Captain Thomas Lawless

He apparently served under the Duke of Wellington during the Iberian campaign and was present at the battle of Waterloo.

• Alt. Burial. Unconfirmed family talk says that Thomas was buried at Gillingham in Kent, but an attempt to confirm this with Gillingham Town Clerk in 1951 failed to confirm this

Thomas married Janet Moodie on 18 Oct 1811. (Janet Moodie was born 1793 ?, died on 29 Jan 1860 in 1 Thurlow Place Haggerstone East and was buried in Abney Park.)
